Set up circa July 1909:

Captain F. W. Marriott, vice-president and honorary secretary of the Aerial League, Southern Division, will shortly open offices at 48, Palmerston Road, Southsea, where those who are interested can obtain the latest information regarding the progress of aeronautics, and current literature on the subject will also be at the disposal of subscribers. Inventors and constructors of air-craft will be able to obtain advice and assistance in carrying out their projects. Mr. Patrick Y. Alexander has given substantial support to the League, and has lent his valuable aid in establishing a Technical School of Aeronautics in Portsmouth.[1]
