The Aero
The Aero was a British magazine about flying. Its first issue was dated 25 May 1909. The editorial address was 20, Tudor Street, London, E.C., or Coventry. Telephone 5610 Holborn.
According to the first issue, The Aero incorporated previous magazines Flying (est. 1902) and The Airship. "The Aero is produced with the intention of giving to the people of the British Empire an impartial, disinterested, and comprehensive review of the science and sport of flying" and would not favor any group, machine, or style, according to the editorial notes.
Our uploads from Brockett don't clearly distinguish The Aero from the US periodical Aero so we will have to sort that out.
A scan of The Aero Vol. 1 (through December 1909) is available from HathiTrust. According to their entry The Aero continued publication into 1913.
The publisher was Iliffe, in London.[1]
