Switzerland's patent classifications in the early aero period are laid out in books in USPTO's STIC library.

Categories from about 1 to 129 are grouped into letter supercategories A-Q. The letter supercategories are not often used. At some point in history one-letter suffixes are added to the number categories to create subcategories.

Dates of the Swiss classifications are not clear yet.

The book we have from about 1920 shows a list of the classes in German and in French.
