The Royal Flying Corps was the (an?) air force of Great Britain before and during the war.

A Royal Flying Corps school in Toronto trained aviators, including Americans before they had opened their own military aviation schools.[1][2]

The Royal Flying Corps Club was presumably associated with this.

Patent data has also revealed the Royal Flying Corps Experimental Works, located at Feltham, Middlesex, with Archibald Montgomery Low, a Captain in His Majesty’s Army, working and filing from there.[3] We have the Royal Air Force Experimental Works, located at Feltham, Middlesex, with Archibald Montgomery Low, as a Major in the R.A.F., filing from there.[4]
