The Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) hosts patent records. The Canadian Patent Office Record is digitized and searchable back to 1869.

For more, see http://brevets-patents.ic.gc.ca/opic-cipo/cpd/eng/introduction.html.

They used a Canadian Patent Classification (abbreviated CPC but not the same as the CPC used here) until October 1989. Since then they use the IPC. They do not seem to use the Cooperative Patent Classification but the IPC is very close.[1]
