Wilson endorses aircraft production for World War I:
MY DEAR MR. SECRETARY: I have your letter of yesterday about the production of aircraft and the training of men to operate them, and want to say that I am entirely willing to back up such a program as you suggest. I hope that you will present it in the strongest possible way to the proper committee of the Congress.
