Design for a windmill (whole plant, not just the wheel) intended to be:

  • simple
  • inexpensive
  • easily lowered to the ground for storage or protection

It also will "dispense with the vane usually employed for holding a wind wheel into the wind" and will keep the wheel in the wind as much as possible.

The focus of the invention is the frame supporting and moving the wind wheel.

Note, this inventor later worked on airships.
