Patent GB-1913-20921

This patent for a hollow propeller shaft, through which a gun can be fired, is the first of a pair that was filed internationally by DMG. The second British filing is Patent GB-1914-10517.
It is purely coincidence, one hopes, that the digits of the patents' serial numbers in Britain and Germany are permutations of each other.
This patent was granted in one month, record time (?) for the British office. The successor was granted quickly, too.
