[Published under Section 91 of the Act.] Floats for acrial machines comprise upper and lower members 1, 2 held apart by resilient means 7, which may be coiled or laminated springs, or formed of elastic material such as india-rubber. In a modification, the resilient means consist of a pneumatic cushion of one or many independently inflatable compartments between the upper and lower rigid members."
