("253705" yields peculiar results on Espacenet. "Flying machine" in conjunction with FR is peculiar, though "Patent FR-1896-253705" does seem quite numerically feasible relative to some of our other holdings. "Tóth" is indeed a Hungarian family name. If this were Ludwig Tóth, that would be very fine. An inventor István Tóth comes up later, in Patent HU-1917-74317, with specific reference to airplanes and airships.)
