On 21 Sept. 1909, the North St. Louis Aero Club was reported about to be formed.
Balloon manufacturer Morris A. Heimann, a director of the South St. Louis Aero Club who was at odds with that club, was aiding in the formation of the club and said his balloons would be at their disposal during Centennial Week, 1909.
