The Centro Nacional de Aviation de Uruguay ran a school for pilots to learn fly and took only its members as students.
The admittance of the Centro Nacional de Aviation de Uruguay to the FAI was strongly supported by the government of Uruguay. It was was unanimously accepted as an affiliate at the FAI's afternoon meeting on 25 Oct. 1919.
