Léon Turcat was an an early automobile manufacuturer. Along with his stepfather, Simon Méry, he founded Turcat-Méry, which firm later having aeronautic dealings with Antoine-Isidore Odier, Raoul Vendôme, and Henri-Louis Rougier, among others, in their various collaborative and innovative trajectories.
