John H. Nolan was an aero inventor in Boston. His full name was probably John Henry Nolan.
In a non-aero 1901 patent, a John Henry Nolan describes himself as the president of Boston Pneumatic Power Company, which sounds related.[1] In 1882 in a non-aero patent he was affiliated with the Magneso Calcite Fire-Proof Company. This subjet appears to have shown up in Scientific American at the same time: "Magneso-Calcite for Safe Linings", Sci Am, 11 Nov 1882
A different John Nolan patented from Britain (Patent GB-1910-4822).
