Ilya Muromets

Ilya Muromets was the name for a class of large aircraft designed about 1912-14 by Igor Sikorsky and made by the Russo-Baltic Wagon Works.

The were intended and used as bombers in WWI, and also intended for civilian use. There was an enclosed passenger compartment. They achieved a number of "firsts".
