Giuseppe Mario Bellanca

Giuseppe Mario Bellanca came from Sicily to New York in 1911 with a degree in engineering; flew monoplane built in Brooklyn basement and ran flying school starting 1912; Joined Wright Aeronautical in 1919.

Started Bellanca Aircraft Corporation in 1927; it "holds all his accumulated drawings and designs."
