An aero club was organized in Easton, Pennsylvania, in late 1911 under auspices of the local Y.M.C.A.
Ten charter members. Initial officers, 1911, included Harold Peiffer, president; Donald Wullmuth, vice president; George Pursel, treasurer; and William K. Jones, secretary.
