Christian Lorenzen was an engineer and aeronautical inventor associated with methods of varying the pitch of the blades of propellers.[1]

He filed patents from "Woodstock", Marlborough Hill, Harrow, county of Middlesex, England.[1] Around 1913 he moved to Neokölln, Berlin, from whence he continued to file patents into the 1930s. In 1914 his address was Münchenstraße, 46; in 1917 it was Richardplatz 19. Filing from England in Patent US-1912-1044064, Lorenzen states he is a German subject—suggesting that he lived abroad in England for a few years then returned home as war was looming or breaking out.
