Aero Club of Omaha

The Aero Club of Omaha was formed circa May 1910. The purpose was to study the science of aeronautics and encourage aerial navigation by organizing meets and exhibitions.

The initial president was Col. W. A. Glassford, commandant at Fort Omaha. The government dirigible shed was to be used by club members for their aircraft.
