François Hennebique was an aero inventor in the Seine district, possibly in Paris. The majority of his patents relate to civil engineering with materials including cement, for purposes such as construction of railways and dams.

Hennebique's aero patent describes an aircraft with propeller system allowed to swing somewhat independently of the main vessel, with the object of maintaining a stable course despite perturbations.
