J. B. Millet

Josiah Byram Millet (usually appears as J. B. Millet) was the author of some articles on kite flying, the president of the Boston Aeronautical Society, and head of J.B. Millet & Co publishing. He attended the 1908 Wright demonstration in France.

Millet was educated at Phillips Exeter and Harvard, where he prepared for a career in journalism. He worked for Houghton, Mifflin and Scribner's. In addition to aeronautics he was interested in communications and was an executive of the Submarine Signal Company.[1][2]
