Dr. Josef Sablatnig (Austrian), who was a pilot and experimenter, was appointed as director.

no information on products. Company shut down in 1915. After that, Dr. Sablatnig formed Sablatnig Flugzeugbau GmbH in Berlin. Union Flugzeugwerke was also the name of a later company formed in 1956 in Germany as registered company for Flugzeug Union Sud.
