The Societe d'Emboutissage et de Constructions Mechaniques (SECM) founded by Felix Amiot, 1916, as a metal pressing and stamping firm.
Specialized in metal aircraft, mass-produced Morane-Saulnier, Sopwith, and Breguet aircraft under license. Introduced its own designs in 1921 under designation SECM. Amalgamated with Latham et Cie, 1929, becoming SECM Avions Amiot, dropping SECM from the name by the mid-1930s to become Avions Amiot.
