Experimental properller/aircraft model:

The design of the propeller shown under test is somewhat novel, being nothing more nor less than two series of revolving box kites inclined at a certain angle; they are driven in opposite directions with belts by a petrol motor, which, however, is hardly suitable for the purpose, but it is not expected that this machine will lift itself from the ground, being built on too small a scale.

Speculates about building such a machine on a larger scale.
