That the patent was filed by both of the brothers Caudron is a matter of likelihood, though there are instances in which a patent filed by one Caudron makes reference to a patent filed by both. That the Belgian francophone title is the same as that of the French, per se, is also a matter of likelihood. The original Belgian patent classification was likely BE K, the key aero-designation, though the highly particular nature of the invention slightly increases the chances of such classifications as BE J and BE L.
