Hippolyte Louis Malécot
Hippolyte Louis Malécot was the inventor of an aircraft sometimes called the dirigeable mixte Malécot–an airplane with extra LTA support. The French patent for this aircraft was filed by the Société Malécot & Cie.
On his US patent he gave his address as No. 65, Faubourg du Temple, Paris.
Per fr.wp, he may have been known as Louis Malécot.[1] The Wikidata record says that his birth name in French was spelled Hypolite.
Birth year might be 1872: BNF, nice photo
""Malécot designed and flew this small non-rigid airship over Paris in 1908. With a four cylinder engine and a top speed of under 20 mph, it was just controllable in light winds." There are many sources for this, and we'll find more academic ones than these.[2][3]
