François Crozet was an aero inventor, an Engineer whom we have as an Engineer addressed at 7 rue de Sully, Lyons, France.[1]
His work with piston motors may not have been directly oriented to aeronautics or aviation, though his Patent GB-1897-15822 was cited by John Wills Cloud, eleven years later, in a patent which effectively applies the principles involved to aviation.[2]
