Amable-Joseph Raynaud was an aero inventor and engineer, though also associated with "Le Syndicat de Faillite", this latter appearing to have been a bankruptcy organization.

As an engineer, he specialized in soupapes (valves, typically for outflow of air from LTA balloons; wooden or metal); cercles de suspension (literally, hanging circles, for attaching other things, like ropes?) et d'appendice; nacelles; and poutre-armées (beams of some kind) for dirigibles.

Addresses in 1909: Paris XVe -- 96, Avenue Félix-Faure and 161, Rue Lourmel
