Aktien-Gesellschaft R. Ph. Waagner - L. & J. Biró & A. Kurz is an Austrian corporation. We have them located in Vienna.[1][2] Corporate research beyond patents, per se, has an “R. Ph. Waagner” addressed at No. 24, Magdalenenstrasse, Vienna.[3] Though we have deferred to the hyphenated “Aktien-Gesellschaft” drawn from the originals of our patents filed in Austria, this usage may be antique. “Aktiengesellschaft R. Ph. Waagner - L. J. Biró & A. Kurz” is found in later coverage of the same firm.[4] See Austria Forum AustriaWiki Waagner-Biro for more. The firm, in any of its incarnations, was not specifically aeronautical. It may be that Alexander Suwada was the inventor of the portable balloon or airship hangars in connexion with which we have found the firm.

See company types for more on variations in the meanings of “AG”.
