Karl Caspar, a pioneer pilot, forms Zentrale fur Aviatik, 1911, which has distinction of being the first German aircraft company. Builds Etrich Taube along with those of the Edmund Rumpler type. Firm, renamed Hansa Flugzuegwerke 1913.
