William Joseph Hammer

William Joseph Hammer was an engineer who worked for Thomas A. Edison in the 1880s, then as an independent consultant. He was on the Aeronautics Committee of the 1909 Hudson-Fulton Celebration[1]
He coauthored the Chronology of Aviation (more or less a compilation of sequential world records) with Hudson Maxim.
