This company made aero engines, extending its previous work producing stationary motors, electricity generators, marine engines, and especially automobile motors.

They definitely made an engine that was shown at 1909 air shows. Were there earlier ones?

It is unclear in what sense they went out of business in 1910; at least part of the company survived in Britain.
