Seven years ago, when the first number of my "Wiener Luftschiffer-Zeitung" (Vienna Journal for Aeronauts) appeared, considerably surprise was evinced in some quarters by the sub-heading "Special Journal for Aeronautics and the Art of Flying."
"The Art of Flying?"
Well, to-day there are but few who do not admit that the words were correctly chosen, though the few at that time may have been somewhat premature.
