Slovakia was part of the Kingdom of Hungary at the time of early aviation.

In a presentation about the history of air travel in Slovakia, Ludovit Hallon highlighted two early efforts: Ján Bahýľ‎'s helicopter prototype and Andrej Kvas's airplane.[1]

Patents

In the early aero period, Slovaks would normally file patents through the Hungarian patent office. We don't think there was a Slovakian patent office in the AH empire.
