"Conferencia del Capitán de Ingenieros Sr. Cañellas" Revista de Locomoción Aérea, Año 1, Núm. 6, 15 November 1909, pp. 144–145.

Describes event held on the 12th (of November) by Captain Cañellas, hosted by the Asociación de Locomoción Aérea of Barcelona. A large audience came and heard Cañellas expound on the principles of aerodynamics, including a historical account mentioning da Vinci, Stringfellow, and others. Cañellas went on to discuss the particulars of airplanes, and recent efforts by Santos-Dumont, the Wrights, Farman, Voisin, Latham, and Blériot. Cañellas concluded with some commentary about Spain's relatively minor contributions to the development of aero technology, and possible relationship to national character.
