Describes Langley's Aerodrome, which the author says in principle is a Drachenflieger (though Langley calls it a Luftschiff, airship):
Im prinzip ist der „Aërodrom“, wie Langley sein Luftshiff nennt, ein Drachenflieger, dessen tragende Flächen vier leichtgewölbte, unbewigliche Flügel, aus Stahl und Seide gefertigt, bilden.
(... which carries four slightly curved planes, fixed-wing, constructed with steel and silk.)
Wing length, 3.90m, breadth 1m.
Propeller diameter, 1.2m. 800–1200 rotations per minute.
