Refers to a "Society for the Study of Motor Airships" created in Berlin by the Kaiser in autumn 1905, financed by one million marks.

...and the society was joined by such leading men as Count Zeppelin, Major von Parseval, and Major Gross. The plans of Major von Parseval were acquired, and this gentleman was installed, together with Capt. von Kehler, as business manager. At the instance of Althoff a technical-scientific advisory board was added to the society, and to this belong four citizens of Göttingen, Profs. Klein, Prandtl, Runge, and Wiechert.

Also cites a coalition of universities, and a "Göttingen Union for the Advancement of Applied Physics and Mathematics" founded in 1893, also by Althoff, as the major forces behind aeronautics research at Göttingen.

Mentions an aircraft design and a recent trip by the professors to Paris for aero study.
