Taylor, an "airship and flying-machine" under the header "Applications for Patents abandoned (i.e. Complete Specification not left within Prescribed Time)" for "21st to 29th June, 1912 (inclusive)". It is hard to know at first glance the relationship of the present patent to the abandoned one.
