"20,985. Erede, G. Sept. 14. Sell-levelling apparatus. - Gyroscopically-controlled cabins are mounted on gimbals 5, and provided beneath the floor with an engine chamber 2 containing the engine or motor 3 and the fly-wheel 4. The cabin is thus free to move in all directions, and is maintained horizontal by the gyroscopic action of the fly-wheel 4 which rotates about a vertical axis and is driven by the motor 3. A tank 8 extends around the bottom of the engine chamber 2 and contains water for balancing."
