1. A flying machine for one or more persons, characterised by a bearing plane or a plurality of parallel and rigidly connected bearing planes and by propellers analogous to oars, adapted to be operated by the pilot situated at the centre of gravity or perpendicularly beneath the centre of gravity of the bearing plane or planes, said oars being adapted to be swung fore and aft for propulsion, and of axial rotation for feathering purposes.

2. A modification of the flying machine claimed in Claim 1, with a mechanical motor for actuating the oars.

3. A flying machine as claimed in Claim 1, with the oars adapted for direct attachment to the arms and body of the pilot.
