Patent GB-1909-30417

From Inventing aviation
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This is not phrased as an addition, but it does prominently mention making improvements to an earlier invention, that is, Patent GB-1903-27212. Brennan's work all branches internationally from his British filings, and at this point it seems that his later aero-applicable British filings connect to his initial British filing. Fortunately, our inventor page patent reports display complicated patent relations, so any judgement call, related to "first filing", and "family year", will not lead to the loss of this nuance.

This patent has to do with keeping the oil involved in bearing lubrication from seeping into other mechanical elements.
