British supplement, in parallel with German supplement. The thickness of the wing in question is not uniform,
but varies, the greatest thickness being at the front edge in those transverse sections in which with respect to the direction of the forward movement the front edge of the supporting surface lies below or just as high as the rear edge, while at those transverse sections in which the front edge lies above the rear edge the point of greatest thickness approaches the centre of the supporting surface according tot he magnitude of the angle of upward inclination.
