A screw propeller o with a broad surface is mounted in a cylinder to prevent centrifugal currents. The cylinder l may pass through the aërostat a as shown, and have a distended forward end r, or cylinders may be arranged on each side of the aërostat and below the car. The cylinder may revolve with the screw. (Abridgment)
