Brewer & Alexander write, "There are 10 claims to this rambling specification", which includes descriptions of flapping wings, the possible use of a propeller, and tubes for generating steam.

Abridgments Class 123, for steam generators, treats only on the "Aeronautical Boilers" part of the invention:

A large number of bent water-tubes of small diameter are arranged in the form of an inverted cone round the furnace or lamp. The tops and bottoms of the tubes are connected. Or a single helical tube or set of concentric helical tubes may be used. The whole is enclosed in a rectangular case, and a superheater is attached.
