Whereas Jean-Baptiste-Émile Dorand, in Patent FR-1908-412632 and Patent FR-1908-412632.12824 addressed the needs of automatic stability by way of the flexible connection between the cockpit and the aircraft more generally and to the wings more particularly, this patent addresses the same interests in a more instrument-based manner. Instruments measuring wind direction and acceleration are combined here in the interests of achieving automatic stability.
