Here it is a pendulum which connects the coupling apparatus, these oscillating and regulating the airplane's stability-oriented surfaces. The motor driving these mechanisms is itself driven by propellers which are made to rotate by way of and in proportion to the degree of wind-resistance they are up against! In this linguistic sense, these particular hélices are not propellers, or propulseurs, as such, at all, in that they do not propel the aircraft, though they do drive an engine, and they are "blades".
