A highly flexible airplane, forgoing the usual rigid framework and wings for fabric attached to a network of ropes attached to a central vergue (nautical term meaning attachment from the mast).

(What at first glance seemed to be five claims at the end of the patent are really five benefits of the design, such as the ability to pack up and transport the aircraft, reduction of cost, and the avoidance of risks associated with fracture of a rigid framework.)
