Patent FR-1902-326476

From Inventing aviation
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This has to do with, in so far as possible, PRE-DIRECTION of the aircraft's flight trajectory, in case of pilot's incapacitation. Reference is made to a patent of 18 October 1883, concerning a "roue universelle Pichou" . . . Patent FR-1883- ; mere reference is made, to a patent fairly well-expired. Patent FR-1902-326476 is not "supplementary to" the earlier patent. It may be that Pichou came into his own, later, and specifically within aeronautics, after some earlier and more "general"(?) ingenuity.)
