- The parent patent had just been approved weeks before this cert d'add was applied for.
- The annual renewals for the parent patent were paid for at least one year, and probably many years renewals but they are not effectively kept with the original patent file. Gallizia believes this is because the paperwork of tracking it with the original was not feasible, but peculiarly they did note the existence of a child patent at a time when he would have had to renew anyway.
- Inventor location: Dresden "Dresde" in French. (this is clear on the original patent doc)
