From archive record at Lilienthal museum:[1]
- Title: muscle-powered flying machine
- The machine had wings with a flat profile. They were narrow in the middle, ran together to a point, and had their greatest depth at the end. They were attached to a rod-shaped hull with a stabilizing fin at the end.
The aviator was housed in a square box under the fuselage, and apparently there was a small steerable vertical fin on the front. Using a hand crank, the aviator drove two propellers, which were located at the front end of the fuselage beam and at the rear inside the fin.
